Our gear pumps have sturdy design, offering high reliability as well as long life. Johnson Pump's gear pump design is based on an internal idler gear rotating inside of a larger rotor. Internal gear pumps are robust, give an even flow, handle both low and high viscosity products, are capable of high pressure and are self-priming.

TopGear offers a combination of strong design with small or large clearances, unique gear tooth profile and options such as electrical heating and built-on safety relief valves.
TG G-range is for general purpose. TopGear G-series is available in cast iron with inline port connections. Baseplate-mounted. Heating and cooling jackets are available for pump cover and around shaft seal. Built-on single or double safety relief valves are available.
The G-range is subdivided into 3 lines characterized by their specific design and related markets.
- GS-line – pumps with single short DIN mechanical seal
- GP-line – pumps with packed gland without lantern ring
- GM-line – heavy duty construction and extended modular design. Several shaft sealing options.
TopGear H-series are available in nine different sizes. The modular design gives a wide range of possibilities. Shaft seal options include single and double mechanical seals as well as packed gland and cartridge seals. Baseplate-mounted. Heating and cooling jackets are available for pump cover and around shaft seal. Single or double safety relief valves are available built-on. Connections from 32 to 150 mm.
The TG L-range of gear pumps are self priming, heavy duty, positive displacement pumps. Six sizes are available offering capacities up to 9 m3/h. the pump type as such originally was designed to transfer various types of lubricants but thanks to design improvement e.g. surface heat treatment and new types of shaft seals, many other liquids are today successfully handled.
TopGear MAG is a range of leak-proof internal gear pumps for low and high viscous liquids which are corrosive, toxic, aggressive or expensive. Total containment of the liquid inside the pump is achieved using a hermetically sealed can, which isolates the liquid from the surrounding environment. This eliminates the need for shaft seals and the associated wear and leakage that would normally be experienced.
